In January 2017, the
Diabetes Clinic celebrates 100 years of service to patients with
diabetes. As seen in the announcement to the left, Dr. Sigismund Schulz
Goldwater (February 7, 1873 - October 22, 1942) announced the opening of
the clinic, inviting referrals for patients with 'diabetes, nephritis and other
conditions' to attend the 'special clinic for diseases of metabolism'.
One hundred years later, and just a few changes ... we are going
strong!
